Amazon Movers and Shakers Down or Discontinued

Update 7/1/09. We wrote to Amazon about this and they said this feature was being 'Deprecated'. We expressed our displeasure and e-mailed back. Not sure what transpired, however, it is now working again...We hope this UN-deprecation is permanent!

As of this morning (6/27/09), The Amazon Movers and Shakers RSS feeds are not working. The url is being re-directed (by Amazon) to the Amazon bestsellers page, instead. We do not know yet if this is a temporary glitch or if Amazon is discontinuing (we hope not) this feature.

Widgets and Stuff...

Widgets are mini-snapshots of a web-site that can be easily placed on another website/blog. A Blidget is similar, but designed for BLOGs. We will collectively call all these 'widgets'.

We have been using widgets on many of our pages for a long time. It is possible to build entire web-sites from a collection of widgets. This is sometimes called a 'Mashup'.

Our favorite site for Widget building and distribution is WidgetBox. You can create your own widgets (like the ones we created shown on these pages) or contact us and we will do it for you..
